What the work actually involves

An AI video is not one prompt. For the MAF commercial we worked from a character sheet and storyboards, and each video went through at least three iterations before it was right. With those sheets in place most shots came out on the first or second generation; without them, the same character or product drifts between shots.

Two rules we now apply to every brief:

• Bring real reference photos. We do not generate products from scratch. Without references, each iteration produces a slightly different product. Proper product photography first, AI video second.
• Plan for the hard shot. One physically complex moment, such as liquid, fire behaviour or a precise mechanical action, can take six or seven attempts and may still need compositing in post. Budget iterations for it rather than assuming the first pass will work.

Where a real shoot is still the better choice

• Testimonials and founder videos, where authenticity is the point.
• Real premises, teams and events: a clinic, a factory, a hotel, a conference.
